Jessica Alba enjoys a holiday with her family

Jessica Alba managed to squeeze in a sunbathing session as she enjoyed a family holiday in Cabo San Lucas.

The 31-year-old actress was seen displaying her enviable physique as she carefully flipped herself over onto her front to ensure she achieve an even colour while soaking up the rays on her sun-lounger.

Mother-of-two Jessica wore a tiny striped bikini to show off her toned physique as she enjoyed the New Year break with daughters Honor and Haven, as well as husband Cash Warren.

The family flew in over the weekend and rang in the New Year south of the border in Cabo.

Jessica was seen hanging out on the lush grounds of the Mexican resort.

Jessica was spotted at Whole Foods in Los Angeles stocking up on wine and other goodies, perhaps for their holiday.

It was this time last year that Jessica flew into her beloved Cabo San Lucas to welcome in the New Year with her family and friends.

On that occasion, some fans approached Jessica soon after their arrival and she sweetly posed for pictures with them while Cash hung out in the outdoor bar with his friends.

Jessica is getting in another little holiday before duty calls again.

The Sin City star will soon be busy promoting the March release of her book The Honest Life, a guide to natural and non-toxic living.

She will also reprise her role of stripper Nancy Callahan in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which is slated for an October 2013 release and co-stars Mickey Rourke, Michael Madsen and Devon Aoki.

Despite her slim frame, Jessica recently revealed that she does not follow a strict diet, but she does load up on veggies, lean protein, fruits, and grains.

‘Diets are for the birds,’ the Sin City star told Hollywood Life. ‘I think you have to eat in a way that makes you feels your best.’
