Iron Man is back for his third installment and this time he is angrier than ever.
The Marvel Comic book hero vows to go all out in an attempt to kill his latest enemy in a recently released clip from the upcoming film.
Robert Downey Jr. stars as the metal clad vigilante Tony Stark as he angrily addresses the world’s media and reveals how he feels about the Mandarin.
Stating with his war of words that his grievance is purely about revenge, Stark smashes up a journalist’s mobile phone before speeding off in his sports car.
Directing his speech at the Mandarin via the press, he blasts: ‘My name is Tony Stark and I’m not afraid of you.
‘I know you’re a coward so I’ve decided that you just died, pal. I’m going to come and get the body.’
He adds: ‘There’s no politics here it’s just good old fashioned revenge. There’s no Pentagon, it’s just you and me.’
Stark even goes as far as to reveal his home address to the super-villain, played by Sir Ben Kingsley, before jumping in his white Audi R8.
The outburst comes after it was revealed that Pepper Potts, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, gets to wear the famous red and gold armour herself.
As Pepper Potts, Gwyneth plays the hero’s girlfriend, longtime associate, and personal assistant but it looks like this time it’s Tony who requires rescuing.
In the Marvel comic books, Potts transforms into the superhero ‘Rescue’ after a collapsing building injures her and she receives cybernetic enhancements to survive. This installment is the first time her character gets to step out of the boardroom and into heavy action.
Iron Man 3 unfolds as Tony Stark’s world is torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin.
