FBI arrests man who stole nude photos from Scarlett Johansson

As part of its phone hacking investigation, the FBI has made an arrest just weeks after nude photos of Scarlett Johansson were leaked.

A Florida man has been charged with hacking the emails of Hollywood celebrities including Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson, and Mila Kunis, according to federal authorities.

Without incident, the arrest of Christopher Chaney, 35, from Jacksonville, was made as part of a yearlong investigation into celebrity hacking, named ‘Operation Hackerazzi.’

He faces 26 charges, including identity theft, unauthorized access to a protected computer, and wiretapping.

Should he be convicted, Chaney could face a sentence of up to 121 years in prison.

Authorities indicated that Chaney was behind the theft of nude photos taken by Johansson, which were subsequently posted online.

Chaney did provide some materials to celebrity blog sites, but there is no evidence suggesting he profited from his illegal activities.
