For the first time, Lily Allen reveals her diamond engagement ring.
The 25-year-old singer was left speechless when her boyfriend, Sam Cooper, popped the question on Christmas Day. She shared a photo on her blog, meant to showcase her new manicure, but it also provided fans a first look at her chic and simple diamond solitaire.
Rumors began circulating that Lily and Cooper might have already tied the knot, as she appeared to be wearing a wedding band adorned with diamonds.
Lily reportedly welled up with tears when Cooper proposed on Christmas Day, occurring just weeks after her miscarriage.
After their challenging experience, the couple took off for a spontaneous Christmas getaway, 
spending several days in Australia before heading to the luxurious Amankila cliff-side resort on the Indonesian island.
Mr. Cooper, aged 32, made his proposal during sunset on the balcony of their $1300-per-night suite, which boasts a stunning view of the Indian Ocean.
A friend of the couple commented, “It has been a difficult time for Lily and Sam, but their love for each other is undeniable.
“It all took them by surprise, but Lily was moved by it all, and they feel ecstatic. Now they look forward to their future together.”
The couple marked the occasion by celebrating in the hotel bar with fellow guests, enjoying champagne and cocktails into the early morning hours.
An onlooker mentioned, “Lily couldn’t stop sharing the news about her engagement to Sam – their joy was unmistakable. The experience was incredibly romantic.
“With the resort’s peaceful and picturesque setting, it was just perfect.”
Dating since July 2009, Miss Allen has referred to Mr. Cooper, a builder and decorator, as a ‘normal bloke’ and ‘the love of my life.’
