David Walliams confirms…again…he is not gay

David Walliams has confirmed that he is not gay, putting an end to years of speculation about his sexuality.

The star of Little Britain has gained fame for his flamboyant behavior both on screen and off.

Despite being 41 and married to model Lara Stone, he acknowledges his camp demeanor but asserts he is not gay.

He remarked: ‘I’ve always been camp. Many people struggle to differentiate between camp individuals and those who are gay.’

‘It’s something that people often fear within themselves, and I believe that anyone who is homophobic likely harbors gay thoughts and emotions.’

Walliams further noted: ‘There are many effeminate individuals who are straight.’

One show he will not return to is Come Fly With Me, following his comedy partner Matt Lucas’s confirmation that he is uninterested in doing another series.

It appears unlikely that Walliams will reunite with Lucas, as Matt intends to focus on his film career in Hollywood and his role in Les Miserables at the West End.

David, who is anticipating his first child with supermodel wife Lara, 29, also shared that their iconic sketch show Little Britain has reached its end, as they find the prospect of creating another series tedious and monotonous.

He expressed: ‘Every single day, people ask, ‘Are you doing more ‘Little Britain’? It happens daily. While you might wish to see it, the reality is that it likely wouldn’t match the original’s quality, and it would just lead us to repeat ourselves year after year, which is boring.’

The comedians forged a close friendship after meeting at the National Youth Theatre in 1990, with Bridesmaids star Matt serving as the best man at David’s wedding. However, the last two years have seen them embark on individual projects.
