She has rarely won plaudits for her style or been named on the world’s best dressed list but that hasn’t stopped Courtney Love from launching her own fashion line.
The vintage-loving Hole singer said her collection is ‘repurposed Edwardian, Victorian with an edge’.
She gave her Twitter followers a sneak peak of the range when she uploaded pictures of model Chloe Norgaard in the designs while doing a photo-shoot for Contributor magazine.
Her collection is called Never The Bride, is ‘the stuff that I would wear if I was young enough to not look like Bette Davis in “Whatever Happened After Baby Jane?”‘
The line features flapper style dresses and embellished tops, accessorised with jewellery and boots for a more a grungey look associated with the 48-year-old who was married to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
The mother-of-one is famed for her controversial behaviour rock star and continues to live up to her reputation with her clothing line.
‘In the hem of all the dresses there’s a ruby and it says cunt,” she proudly said.
Courtney’s clothing line has been four years in the making and she hopes it will be on sale but the online store has yet to confirm they will be stockists.
