Brian McFadden gets help from serial womaniser Callum Best

Brian McFadden appears to be dealing with his split from Delta Goodrem in the manner you might expect from a man of his stature.

Rather than sit at home licking his wounds and ruing the day he met his ex-fiance the former Westlife singer hit the town in his native Dublin.

And who better to help you get back in the saddle than infamous womaniser Calum Best.

The two teamed up after leaving the launch of Harry’s, an American style bar, where Brian had made a surprise appearance.

At the event itself Brian appeared keen to prove he was living it up post-Delta by posing with two models.

Flanked by Chris De Burgh’s daughter Rosanna Davison and swimsuit model Georgia Salpa, the 30-year-old looked pleased as punch.

Also in attendance at the party were reality TV stars Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Abi Titmuss and Stacey Solomon.

Soon after he left the event with partner in crime Calum Best to take in Dublin’s bustling nightlife.

Asked how he was coping with the break-up of his relationship with the Australian singer, Brian said: ‘It’s great to be home. I’m fine and I feel good.’

But he obviously isn’t as ‘over it’ as he’s pretending to be, he was still wearing his engagement ring.

The former Westlife member also joked that he may even play a few gigs while he stays in Dublin.

He said, ‘An impromptu gig in Dublin could be fun while I’m here, so if anyone in Dublin wants to come I’ll tweet the when and where.’

It’s the latest in a series of post-split nights out for the singer, who broke up with partner Delta Goodrem just before his 30th birthday.

Subsequently, he took to his birthday celebrations with due aplomb.

The singer partied the weekend away in Australia with Aussie rules star Gary Ablett Jnr and his girlfriend Lauren Phillips, hitting six different venues over the course of two days.

Brian is believed to be staying with his parents in Artane, east Dublin.

He has said that, after several years living in Australia, he now wants to spend more time with his children Molly, 10, and Lilly Sue, 8, from his marriage to Kerry Katona.

And, despite their split, he has been full of praise for his ex-fiancee.

Brain recently tweeted, ‘I love delta and always will. She is one of God’s living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time.’
