Eve Hewson, who is the daughter of Bono, the frontman of U2, will star alongside Sean Penn in the upcoming film This Must Be The Place. 
Hewson takes on the role of a Goth-punk music enthusiast who shares a close friendship with Penn‘s aging rock star character, as reported.
The character played by Penn becomes fixated on tracking down a Nazi criminal who once tormented his father in a concentration camp.
It seems that Eve draws her confidence from her father, Bono. When asked about his daughter’s film career, he stated, “It’s in the genes.”
This isn’t the first on-screen appearance for the 19-year-old Hewson, as she has credits that include the 2008 independent drama The 27 Club directed by Erica Dunton.
With direction by Paolo Sorrentino and featuring Frances McDormand, This Must Be The Place is scheduled to begin filming this month in Ireland and the US.
