According to creator Ryan Murphy, BRITNEY Spears WILL make an appearance on Glee, but will be handled with “kid gloves” in the show.
The pop icon is set to have a cameo in an episode that celebrates her music in the forthcoming second season.
However, he emphasized that the storyline will steer clear of the troubled 28-year-old star’s personal issues, focusing on her musical contributions instead.
Murphy stated: “Britney, I believe 100 percent, will be part of the episode.”
“She is scheduled to do a few scenes.”
During his conversation with Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show, he continued: “The emphasis is on her music rather than her personal life.”
“We’re approaching Britney with a level of care.”
“I have great respect for what she’s accomplished and how she has made a comeback.”
He elaborated on how her music will be integrated into fantasy sequences triggered when the characters visit the dentist and undergo anaesthesia.
